Jason Hartman was invited on to Pat Hiban's Real Estate Rockstars podcast and he and Pat looked back on Jason's early days as an agent and discusses what’s changed, what’s stayed the same, and where the industry’s headed. They also explains how to make viable property investments in changing markets by following a set of simple rules. Listen in and learn how to last in this ever-changing industry, how to succeed as a real estate investor, and more.
Jason Hartman and George Gammon join forces to discuss how to make money with real estate. Jason Hartman has been involved with real estate since the age of 16! Since then he's become a self made real estate investing millionaire, owned properties in several states and cities, and is the host of the mega popular "Creating Wealth Show with Jason Hartman." In the interview Jason reveals some of his best tips and sure fire ways to make money in real estate investing.
George is a huge fan of small cash flowing rental properties in very select markets in the US where prices are still sane. Jason Hartman sees things the exact same way. So much so, it's how he invests his own money. Jason Hartman isn't a "guru" he's an experienced pro with decades of real world experience.
In this episode the two specifically discuss many of the questions George gets on the live streams and in the comments. Questions like:
1. What's the difference between bubble markets like LA, Seattle and markets like KC? How can housing be in a bubble yet you suggest buying rental props? Jason outlines this in great detail.
2. How to use your IRA and 401k to buy rental properties.
3. Jason Hartman explains how to profit from inflation.
4. Jason Hartman also dives into actual spread sheets to show you the data behind his strategies.
This is PART 1 of a 4 part series. In Part 1 Jason Hartman and I discuss the "cyclical" markets vs. the "linear markets" If you are interested in real estate, protecting wealth and making money THIS IS FOR YOU!!
Jason Hartman joins Daray Olaleye, host of the Before the Millions podcast, to discuss how the United States offers nearly 400 distinct and diverse markets while most media pundits characterize the “housing market” as if it were a single entity. Real estate cannot be described that simply – It’s just not accurate. There is NO such thing as a United States real estate market. However, there IS an Atlanta, Georgia or a Dallas, Texas real estate market.
Jason and Daray discuss the 3 types of real estate markets, Commandment 5, investing in linear markets, secret inflation benefits and how investors get rich with real estate.
Jason Hartman recently went on the Yellow Bird Podcast with Kyle Passkiewicz to discuss his “Area Agnostic” approach to investing, opportunities to jump into your local market, working with international buyers, and much more.
Kyle Passkiewicz is the President of YellowBird and oversees operations of its affiliated businesses. For the past 15 years, Kyle has captained the firm with the sole purpose of sourcing and managing investment opportunities for his companies and partners. He has built a team of true professionals pursuing investments ranging from single family homes, land development, hard money lending, home building, home staging & rental portfolio management.
Jason discusses the importance of opportunity costs using one of his properties as an example. About 15 years ago, he purchased a home in Austin, Texas for $150,000 and rented it for $1400 a month. Now it’s worth $250,000 and is rented for $1700. While some may think the property is doing well, the fact that the rent is not keeping pace with the appreciation is an indication that the property is doing much worse than when he originally purchased it. He also discusses how having more leverage and debt decreases risk. The riskiest position is having the equity tied up in the property.
